Being a Eco-Lighhouse company means systematic work on environmental measures in everyday life, focusing on environmental friendly operation and a good working environment for the employees.

The Eco-Lighthouse certificate has custom requirements for different industries and the certificate is awarded after an independent assessment. Certified companies / organizations must hand in yearly reports and are recertifed every third year.

The Eco-Lighthouse certificate is acknowlegded by the Norwegian government and is considered in the process of public procurement.
